The aim of TUVERD is to introduce, guide and teach people about the fantastic world of truffles. There are many different types of truffle but very few varieties are actually of gastronomic value. We will focus our attention on tuber melanosporum vitt, the highest quality truffle that can be grown in our geographical area.
The prefix melano comes from the Latin for black or dark and, in fact, the world of truffles is a hidden, dark world for many people who do not know what they are, how they are harvested, how they can be eaten and a huge number number of things related to them.
